4·3 days agoUnless you’re stranded on a planet during a time before the Vulcan practice of purging emotion and your body begins to regress to match… Look, we’ve all been there.

7·4 days agoAbsolutely. It’s just one of those ongoing tropes even more frequently used than the “only ship in the sector” nonsense.

1·5 days agoI do so love that pink outfit and her exuberance at trying to imitate the “working girl” in the station.

Anyway, use this an excuse to watch that and s6e12 “Ship in a Bottle,” since it is a proper 2-parter. Albeit 3 seasons separated.

7·5 days agoCurious. That image looks like the result of an attempted AI upscale of the base image. The hairline is mottled, eyebrows darker/sharper, lips have more definition, and the blotchy eyes.
Verification aside, it was not my intention to make use of an AI image for a meme as I did not see it as such. Whether that means my perception is dulled to where I can be fooled now or that we’re still overestimating the capability of the tech, is up for debate. I’d prefer the latter.

12·5 days agoThis is definitely AI slop:

The other image appears to be a manufactured doll that was the basis for the modified versions. Or maybe it’s just been jpeg-ed enough to look more realistic.

AI filtered Data and his uncanny valley window doppelganger are unsettling.
