You must really hate going to the movies. If I spend $60-70 on a game and get 50-100+ hours of entertainment from that money spent that’s a dub in my book.
If someone enjoys flight simming it’s not really a question, they will buy this game because it’s one of the best all-around sims.
Also pandas and matplotlib but maybe that’s just me.

Yeah but fuck all that python is good enough for most beginners. Variables, scope, loops, functions, operators… Once you get some of the principles down switching to C++ or similar isn’t nearly as bad.
Being a person that tried to learn C/C# from scratch in my early days python was a good gateway language.
My elderly dad fell for something similar trying to call HP support, he googled the number and the top result was some bullshit. They had him set up remote access and compromised all his data. Old man had to reset everything.
He called me saying what happened, I had him shut down and unplug. I recovered what I could but he lost a lot of data.

Yeah older Subarus are mint. I noticed Honda has been less reliable in general as well when I was shopping for cars. My first two cars were civics and both were great but I’ve heard mixed things (consumer reports) on the newer ones. I miss old Japanese cars… Simple and reliable.
I can attest, my mom has a 2017 Impreza hatchback with a manual transmission. In the first two years it was in the shop like 4-5x for various issues, the main one being wiring harness for the engine.
I’ve driven it a handful of times and it’s a fucking pile. She regrets buying it… the shifter vibrates horribly, the car constantly shudders like it’s going to stall, the interior is awful hard plastic, everything looks and feels cheap, and the car is PAINFULLY slow. The first time I tried to drive it I was literally flooring it and it felt like it was barely moving. Eco mode was off, it’s just a slow car.
I’m never buying a Subaru and I recommend against it if it ever comes up. I almost bought a new WRX but after seeing what my mom went thru I got a GTI and it’s been reliable. Cheaper at the time too.

That’s something, lol. I’m not irreplaceable but it would be an absolute clusterfuck if I left, at least for a while.
I do a good job of documenting everything but so much of my work relies on scripts that I wrote and never properly deployed - a mix of python and VBA, and all my reporting relies on an API connection that nobody else maintains and other than a handful of queries I shared, nobody really knows how to use it.
I’m not trying to be shitty but it’s job security.

Think about it longer term… All the people struggling at the bottom now have secure housing. More money is free for nutrition, hygiene, they can get better jobs or afford schooling… Trades or higher education. More people have a chance to escape poverty and contribute production, get more money to spend, more money gets out into local economies. So and so forth. It’s a good idea.
That’s sad to hear. It’s been a long time since I’ve played any sports games and I had a hankering recently but everything has shit reviews and I keep coming across stories like yours.
