FATE, Without Numbers, Powered by the Apocalypse are all game engines that may appeal to you and generally emphasize faster pace gameplay/narratives. Daggerheart is good at this as well. I also recommend Fabula Ultima, but it’s less appealing if you don’t like anime or jrpgs in my opinion. If you are open to playing a game online with webcams, I could try to run something for you but no promises.
