I get it, the UK still wants to dismantle the european human rights laws because they didn’t brexit hard enough, and can’t seem to stop them applying in the UK even though they were trying very hard to do so even before brexit. The ECHR pre-dates the EU and Britain remains a party to it.
The ECHR is not the EU.
