I really hope it works on Linux. When I last tried ALVR I had a few issues, but I’ve been wanting to give it a chance once again. More options would make the whole thing a lot easier though.
According to the minimum specs it requires a Windows 10 or newer, and an Nvidia GPU.
As of now SteamVR itself is in a woeful state on Linux, maybe that’s why they don’t list Linux support for it

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. SteamVR and Steam Link work just fine on Linux, so combining them should work as well.
But the plot thickens that the rumored Deckard standalone headset will be some wierd hybrid.

I can confirm. Steam Link won’t find the Linux desktop, but it recognizes the other two Windows PCs just fine.
Since SteamVR 2 released on Linux I haven’t been able to use VR at all so your mileage may vary.
