I, for one, an happy to let the DCEU die. Burn it down and start fresh. Don’t know if James Gunn’s DC universe will be better, but… it would be hard pressed to be worse. At minimum it will rid itself of a lot of baggage.
Not everything James Gunn makes is great but it’s almost always entertaining.

Doom Patrol is pretty cool. I never finished it, but I appreciate that they embrace the weirdness. But it is separate from the DCEU. They are not connected at all. Thats why Cyborg in Doom Patrol is nothing like the Cyborg in the Justice League. Doom Patrol was spun off from the Titans tv show.
