It’s nothing fancy. I recently switched to an undercoat of Vallejo Game Color Sick Green direct on the model then 1-2 layers of Warpstone Glow. Edge highlights are Moot Green.

I was using the standard GW method of Warpstone over Caliban but I found it to be a pain b/c it took 3+ layers of Warpstone to get no streaks and it came out kind of dark.

I just did Stormvermin Fur over black primer with thinned Nuln Oil on top lol. Hair is Vallejo Black.

It doesn’t even come with their transfers. I got these from the upgrade kit and the eradicators.

Just getting back into 40K over the past month or so. I haven’t played or painted since waaaay back in 4th edition when I was younger. Used to play Ultramarines and decided I wanted to be just slightly different this time around. It’s been really neat to see how much the game and models have changed since 4th. Back then YouTube wasn’t really a thing yet either so it’s been immensely helpful in figuring things out.

This is the Starter Set plus Eradicators in the back. I’m trying sub-assemblies for the first time with the Eradicators, might have made things harder on myself by choosing the option with the backpack cables but we’ll see.

Waiting on the rest of my paint to arrive so I’ll post more once I’ve made progress!

The landscapes made me think of Bob Ross and now I just see Bob Ross in power armor purging heretics with a smile.
