The UK has banned a prominent American Muslim preacher from entering the country over social media posts in which he criticised the West’s support for Israel.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood revoked travel authorisation for Dr Shadee Elmasry just days before he was scheduled to arrive in Britain on Sunday, to give talks in Birmingham, Bolton and Ilford.
Elmasry had posted: "They are all in this (fake or real) state of shock that the people of Gaza finally punched back (after 50 years).
“In contrast, the very same people would celebrate a similar kind of attack from Ukraine against Putin.”
Evil never sleeps. Maybe the Western world will eventually learn that, if Western imperialism feels threatened by Islam and righteous Muslims, there might be something good there…

This is written in the context of persecution/defensive war, hence the mention of dominance and being struck first (like, the whole Surah is, it even talks about how some believers should act as guards while prophet Muhammad is doing the recitation in case shit happens) and it’s as noble as it could be. It’s basically what would and should happen if, for whatever reason, Palestinians had an upper hand over the Western colony called Israel: grant the unbelievers protection if they surrender and seek it (cause they’re not attacking you anymore), have cordial and fair dealings with those of the unbelievers who have acted righteously with you, fight those who corrupt the land and seek to dominate you even if you don’t want to because you’re afraid simply because it’s right…
I don’t understand what the problem is. It even says “take the (no longer combative) polytheists to a place of safety, for these are ignorant people”. Could you imagine how much nicer the world would be if everyone conducted themselves this way in war? And, again, prophet Muhammad and his OG followers were persecuted (like prophet Isa and his OG followers, of course, these things happen all the time), that’s the whole setting of these passages…

And Surah 109 states it pretty clearly: “O rejecters, I do not serve what you serve nor do you serve what I serve, nor will I serve what you serve nor will you serve what I serve. It literally says to only allow “polytheists” to travel freely within the borders of an Islamic nation for four months. It says to take them away to attempt to convert them to Islam “so that he may hear the words of allah”

Nobody can “convert you to Islam”, you either submit to God or you don’t, and if you don’t (and that might mean not believing in giving charity and simply sharing from what God gives you, forgiving debts, believing charging interest is a sin, etc., which is what Muslims already do), you pay tax. You wouldn’t have had to defend the incipient and persecuted Muslim community that the message of God was meant for through prophet Muhammed either, because you know, you don’t want to submit to God/“convert to Islam” so what do you care? And you’re not being forced. And this is after losing a war/battle these people started! Seems more than fair to me. 🤷

The whole message of Christianity and Jesus as a whole is that you cannot work to gain heaven through deeds. By this logic, Buddhists and Hindus will also go to heaven because many of them are upright people.

The only reason you believe the message of Jesus said that deeds, the Day of Judgment and Heaven are disassociated is Roman nonsense added on, and the original message can still be found in the Bible itself! And yes, why can’t they? Even so called atheists, and even Christians and Jews who “reject prophet Muhammad” (due to an ideological misunderstanding and not in spirit) might, because if they were righteous God could just understand their ideological differences as an honest skill issue, the result of the trauma of living under Western “Judeo-Christian values” and beliefs, further complicated by Western propaganda, and look past it. They say these things with their mouths but their hearts are closer to God than that of many so-called believers, after all. Is God not Merciful, Understanding? I wouldn’t be surprised if John Brown ended up in Heaven, I’d be more shocked if he weren’t there, for instance. I doubt Greta considers herself Muslim but she certainly does a lot of Muslim shit, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she goes to Heaven too.
